Safaricom customers can easily request M-PESA statements of up to 12 months via email service.

For statements covering a longer period, customers will still need to visit a Safaricom shop. Upon registration for the service, Safaricom initiates the process by sending a 6-month M-PESA statement.

Subsequently, customers will receive a monthly statement on the 5th following their registration.

It is worth noting that the M-PESA statements sent via email are password protected, with the password being the customer’s ID or passport number.

How To Access MPesa Statements

To access this groundbreaking service, customers need to follow a simple process:

  1. Dial *234# and select ‘My M-PESA Information’
  2. Enter ‘2’ and press send
  3. Select ‘M-PESA Statement’
  4. Enter ‘1’ and press send
  5. Choose ‘Full Statement’
  6. Enter your ID or passport number
  7. Enter your email address
  8. Confirm your email address

Upon successful completion of these steps, customers will have registered to receive full M-PESA statements via email, thereby enjoying the convenience of accessing their financial records effortlessly.

However, it is important to note that the service is currently experiencing limitations with email addresses registered with .ke domains, and it is imperative for Safaricom to address this issue promptly to ensure inclusivity for all customers.
